Today I am reviewing the YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Radiance Awakening Foundation. First off, this foundation feels very lightweight on the skin, which is what I look for in a foundation I can’t stand feeling cakey! The coverage I would say is medium and fairly dewy. Personally it looks very nice on my skin and I do like the finished look when set down with powder too. I found it very easy to blend with a beauty sponge and it didn’t cling to any spots or dry areas I have.
I think this foundation is quite pricey at £36 and although I like it, I’m not sure its 100% worth spending that much. I have tried other foundations I like better on me. It all comes down to personal preference. I also assumed this foundation would look much more glowy coming from the Touche Eclat Range. Lastly I really don’t like the smell of this foundation, it reminds me of old perfume and I wish it was fragrance free. YSL doesn’t fall under the cruelty-free list which is such a shame.
I don’t think I will be repurchasing this foundation when I run out but I will get some use out of it as I do like it, I just don’t love it.
My rating- 5/10
